  Fertilizer pricing is subject to change and pricing and supply can vary from locality to locality.  This calculator is designed to compare the cost of nitrogen in blends of fertilizer containing phosphorus and potassium (either together of individually).  The cost credit for the phosphorus and potassium is based on the cost of 0-46-0 and 0-0-60.  Negative values for the cost of nitrogen means that the value of the phosphorus and/or potassium in the fertilizer exceeds the entered cost of the fertilizer.
