For land classified as 2a, 2b or 2c, the Ag2School
credit passed into law in May 2019 establishes a 70% credit for taxes payable
in 2023 and beyond on school district debt service levies including the
proposed property tax levy. The tax impacts shown above are after the 70%
reduction in taxes eligible for taxes payable in 2025 as a result of this
credit.

The tax calculator is intended for illustrative
and informational purposes only. The figures shown above represent the
estimated tax increase for the proposed referendum questions on property
taxes payable in 2025. The calculations are based on current property tax
laws. The valuation data is based on preliminary property values for taxes
payable in 2025 provided by the county which is believed to be accurate but
not guaranteed. The tax impacts do not include other categories of the school
district's property tax levy, nor does it include property taxes for other
taxing jurisdictions. The calculation does not take into account any other
applicable property tax refunds or deferrals for which a taxpayer may be
qualified, or consider future potential changes in district wide property
values, individual homeowner reassessment, state law changes and other
factors.
