For agricultural land classified as 2a, 2b or 2c
the Ag2School credit passed into law in May 2019 establishes a 70% credit for taxes payable in 2023 and
beyond on school district debt service levies including the proposed property
tax levy. The tax impacts shown above are after the 70% reduction in taxes
eligible for taxes payable in 2024 as a result of this credit.
